Ciera
Ciera's story spans continents, creativity, and curiosity.
Originally born in Minnesota on July 31st, she later spent seven formative years living in China before returning to the Midwest for college in Duluth, Minnesota. Her path has never been a straight line--and that's exactly how she likes it. After college, she headed to Vermont where she spent building animatronics, combining her engineering skill with a love for creativity and storytelling. Today, she calls Orlando, Florida home, where she works as a Sustainability Engineer at Universal Orlando.
As a lifelong learner, Ciera holds three degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Theatre, and an MBA. These all reflect both her analytical mind and creative spirit. Whether it's designing, problem-solving, or imagining something entirely new, she loves bringing new ideas to life.
When she's not working, Ciera can usually be found building something, reading a good book, or planning her next adventure somewhere in the world. She's known for her sarcastic sense of humor, introverted nature, and laid-back personality. But, those closest to her also know how deeply caring she is.
True to her creative spirit, Ciera always seems to have a project in progress. And if there's a movie playing in the background while she works, there's a good chance it's The Lion King, her all-time favorite.

What Ciera loves most about her groom is his determination. No matter the obstacle, he never lets anything stand in the way of getting something done. Just as importantly, he always makes the effort to understand and appreciate her quirks, something she values deeply.
Wesley
About the Groom
Wesley was born in Virginia on November 19th, but has spent most of his life in Florida, with a short chapter living in Georgia along the way. These days, he calls Orlando home, where he works as a Senior Project Manager for Murphy Lighting. In his role, Wesley brings organization, determination, and leadership to every project he tackles. All of which are traits that show up just as much in his personal life.
He holds a degree in Industrial Technology Management and has built a career around turning complex ideas into completed projects. Whether it's work or play, Wesley is someone who believes in seeing things through.
Outside of work, Wesley loves staying active and having fun. You'll often find him riding motorcycles, kayaking, playing video games, or out on the golf course. His adventurous spirit extends beyond hobbies, as he has traveled to 20 countries. He is always eager to see and experience more of the world.
Wesley's personality is as big as his sense of adventure. He's extroverted, energetic, loving, and incredibly steadfast. When he sets his mind to something, there's very little that can stop him. When it's time to relax, two of Wesley's favorites are a stack of pancakes and watching Jurassic Park, a movie he never gets tired of.

What Wesley loves most about his bride is the little things that make her uniquely her. Even when it's 90 degrees outside, she somehow always manages to be chilly. He loves knowing that even on her worst days, he can always find the right thing to say to make her smile. Most of all, he loves that through every high and every low, she has always stood right beside him, no questions asked.
Our
Story
Ciera and Wesley's story began halfway across the world in Osaka, Japan. Both of them were working as vendors on Super Mario World at Universal Studios Japan, sharing the same office space while helping bring the immersive land to life. What started as coworkers collaborating on a project eventually turned into something much more.
One of their earliest memories together, before they were officially dating, was hiking up the iconic paths of Fushimi Inari-taisha in Kyōto. Walking through the endless torii gates, neither of them realized at the time that this "non-date date" would become one of the first chapters in their story together.
About a year after Ciera moved to Orlando, their friendship grew into a relationship. Since then, they've shared a love of exploring the world together. Traveling quickly became one of their favorite things to do as a couple. Their largest adventure so far was a cruise through Greece, hopoping from island to island and taking in the beauty, history, and food along the way.
Their proposal story, however, was a little less planned, and all the more perfect because of it. Wesley had several thoughtful proposal plans throughout the day, but one by one they all fell through for various reasons. After a show they had attended with friends, the two wandered down by the water.
That's when Wesley spotted what he described as a "big pile of dirt" that he wanted to check out. Ciera, not thinking anything of it (since unusual curiosity is pretty normal for them), happily walked over with him. Standing beside that very glamorous pile of dirt, Wesley asked Ciera to marry him on February 9, 2025. He presented her with a sapphire ring, exactly the kind of stone she had always dreamed of.
Today, they share their home with their cat, Galaxy, and continue to look forward to every new adventure ahead. What excites them the most about married life is simple: always having someone there to support each other through whatever life brings.
And of course, the next big adventure is already planned: their honeymoon trip to Asheville, North Carolina.
